Is it possible to recover from stress and burnout?
It’s a question I get asked a lot.
Recovery implies that there is just one thing you need to do. You’ve probably been to your doctor several times to ask for blood tests and when they come back you’re told you’re fine, there’s nothing wrong with you.
Or maybe you’ve tried some B vitamins because you’ve heard they help with stress?
You could have had a couple of massage sessions because you know you need to relax more and perhaps that will help.
You know how it is – you go round and round in circles looking for answers. You’ve asked your friends and you’ve searched online for the answer as to why you have no energy and what you can do about it.
I am guessing you haven’t found the answers you’re looking for otherwise you wouldn’t be here.
You see, doctors do lab tests but they don’t give you the full picture.
Now, imagine that you find out exactly why you’re feeling so tired and more importantly what you can do about it. How would that make a difference to your life?
I’ve been in practice for over 20 years and during this time I’ve done a lot of training in different therapies because I learnt a long time ago that one therapy doesn’t work for everyone.
My aim if we work together is to create the best possible treatment for you. I don’t like the word ‘bespoke’ but that’s what it is!
Whatever answers you’re looking for, it’s likely that you might need what I call a multi disciplinary approach –
That means you might benefit from detoxing or some bodywork such as cranio sacral therapy if you’re in pain; you might need nutritional support if you’re low in energy; perhaps some coaching would help with the emotional challenges you’re going through or if you’re feeling stuck and just can’t move forward in your life, RTT could probably help you get to the real cause of why AND clear it for you.
Most people who come to me have already tried lots of different routes to try and get their health back.
I believe that if we can look at ourselves as emotional, physical and spiritual beings and if we’re willing to see how everything fits together then that’s the start of a powerful healing journey.
